She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Merier and Sybil Sirmans Merier; her daughter Connie Smith; and her sister Martha Dillingham. She is survived by: her husband Levi Jones of Douglas, GA; her children, Levi Michael Jones (Donna) of Hilliard, FL, Daniel Jones (Leigh) of Warner Robins, GA and Loretta Jones Courdle of Brunswick, GA; her son-in-law Lamar Smith of Douglas, GA; and her brothers, Alton Lee (Deloris) of Kingsland, GA, Lindsey Lee (Avie) of Abbeville, S. C., Henry Merier (Sandra) of Jesup, GA and Carroll Merier (Debbie) of Woodbine, GA. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
