It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frieda Verline Dixon Dennis (Douglas, Georgia), born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on February 18, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifton C. Dixon and Frieda Allen Dixon; her husband George D. Dennis (Dave); and her son George Dean Dennis. She is survived by: her son Michael; her daughter-in-law Gail Dennis of Douglasville; her daughter Deanna Dennis of Atlanta; her grandchildren, Ryne Dennis of Athens, Kelley and Jamie Thomas of Burlington; her great grandchild Penelope Thomas of Burlington; her sister Sandra; and her brother-in-law Lamar Chatham of Powder Springs. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
