It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gladys Corbitt of Douglas, Georgia, who passed away on October 30, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Deaton and Gladys Burch Deaton; her husband Steve D. "Mann" Corbitt; and her children, Ricky Corbitt, Tammy Myers and Nina Faye Corbitt.
She is survived by: her children, Glenn Corbitt (Regina) of Broxton, GA, Danny Corbitt (Kathy) of West Green, GA and Brenda Kay Smith of West Green, GA; her sisters, Martha Highsmith of Pearson, GA and Eden Hill of Macon, GA; her daughter-in-law Anita Corbitt of West Green, GA; her brother William Homer Deaton of Pearson, GA; and her son-in-law Terry Myers of McRae, GA. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
