She was predeceased by: her parents, George L. Carter and Cora Smith Carter; her husband James Crayvon Grantham; and her siblings, Ozelle C. Tanner and Linton Carter.
She is survived by: her sons, Jimmy Grantham (Margaret), George L. "Zip" Grantham and Van Grantham (Teresa) of Douglas, GA; her sister Jacqueline C. Thigpen of Waresboro, GA; and her grandchildren, Jason Grantham, Josh Grantham, Chad Grantham, Kayla Jones of St, Cray Grantham, Kory Grantham, Chase Grantham and Chan Grantham. She is also survived by 10 Great Grandchildren Several Nieces and Nephews, as well as many friends.
