He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent H. E. Thomas; his wife Miss Jackie Gattis; his children, Stephanie "Ginger" Whiddon and Martin "Marty" Thomas; his son-in-law Brian Whiddon; his grandchildren, Shannon Thomas, Caitlin Whiddon and Cameron Whiddon; and his great grandchild Zoie Henkel.
