He was predeceased by: his parents, James Frank Brantley and Opal Harper Brantley; and his siblings, Billy Brantley, Tony Brantley, Jimmy Brantley, Julian Brantley and Audrey Rains.
He is survived by: his wife Lucy Nell Smith Brantley of Douglas, GA; his children, Johnny Brantley (Katrina) of Douglas, GA, Jackie Rentz (Mike) of Valdosta, GA and Luci Brantley of Douglas, GA; his grandchildren, Jack Rentz (Carrie), Stan Rentz (Megan), Grant Rentz (Jessica), Michaelanne Parrish (Matthew), John Brantley and Mark Taft (Kara); his great grandchildren, Grace Rentz, Sawyer Rentz, Andrew Rentz, Eli Rentz, Caleb Rentz, Brantley Rentz, Georgiaclaire Rentz, Warren Rentz, Lawrence Parrish, Lucy Kate Parrish, Jase Rish, Dane Rish, Bentley Rose Brantley, Lily Kate Taft and Trace Taft; his siblings, Jessie Brantley (Sue), Maxine Lamb and Jean Brantley; his siblings-in-law, Lawana Brantley, Joann Brantley, Betty Brantley and Larry Rains; and his close friend Frankie Harrell.
