He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack W. Tanner and Lessie Cook Tanner; his sisters, Montez Hendley and Doris Metts; and his grandson Tyler MacCrory of Springfield, PA.
He is survived by: his wife Pearl Morris Tanner; and his daughters, Saundra Brady (Edward) of Springfield, PA, Lynn Cain of Brookhaven and Tammy Chesser (Steve) of Springfield, PA.. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
