He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer James Goad and Alta Phipps Goad; his siblings, Elmer Goad, Jr. and Maggie Delorice Simpson; and his grandson Parker Michael Vetter.
He is survived by: his children, Yvonne Vetter (Doug) and Eddie Goad, Jr. (Little Eddie) of Cincinnati, OH; his stepchildren, Selena Day (Ronnie), Gary Seawright (Tammy) and Tim Seawright (Shasta) of Douglas, GA; his sisters, Wilma Troupe, Carol Clayton, Penny Williams and Brenda Hutcheson; his grandchildren, Abby Vetter, Maddie Vetter, Calix Seawright and Palin Seawright; and his stepgrandchildren, Travis Day (Mindy), Ellie Hoopianna (Nick), Rachel Padget (Trent Matthew Seawright) and Michaela Stevens. He is also survived by 14 Great Grandchildren A number of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
