It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Lawrence McQueen of Douglas, Georgia, born in Homerville, Georgia, who passed away on September 3, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Lee McQueen and Libby Blondell Hardin McQueen; his daughter Tracy Murray; and his siblings, Mary Eudora Wright, Latrelle McPeters, Bobby McQueen and Bill McQueen.
He is survived by: his wife Donnis Lott McQueen of Douglas, GA; his children, Andy McQueen (Petra), Blondale Thomas (Clay), James McQueen (Tonya) and William Joyce (Michelle) of Nicholls, GA; his sisters, Sarah Franklin (Ed) and Joyce Odom (Jerry) of Chipley, FL; and his grandchildren, Barron Thomas, Brylee Thomas, Marlena McQueen and Brittany. He is also survived by Several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and many Friends.
Please note, due to COVID-19, attendees are asked to observe six foot social distancing at the service and visitation.
