It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Smith Carter of Douglas, Georgia, born in Wilmington, North Carolina, who passed away on July 2, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, T. B. Smith and Ethyl Stanley Smith; and her husband Orville Carter. She is survived by: her children, Orville Brent Carter and Lorrinda Johnson (Stanley) of Broxton, GA; her grandchildren, Keven Johnson (Laila), Adam Johnson and Cody Rowe of Douglas, GA; her great grandchildren, Jace Johnson, Samuel Rowe and Lyna Johnson of Douglas, GA; and her sisters, Linda Holton and Gayle Woods (Charlie). She is also survived by Several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and many friends.
