With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean Alexander (Douglas, Georgia), who passed away on September 23, 2021 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jean Alexander to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Merritt and Lemmie Patton Merritt. She is survived by: her husband Elmer Alexander; her children, Debi Lott (Charley), Rick Lewis (Marissa), Vicki Lewis and Ronda Rentz (Dale); her great grandchildren, Stewart Meeks (Maxwell), Brandon Meeks, Jordan Meeks, Carol Lyn Smith, Kayla Parrish, Joe Lewis and Bobby Savoie; and also, Chase Lott, Sarah Brown, Michael Lott, Caroline Douglas, Brenda Sue Stewart (John), Vaughn Stewart, Shane Stewart, Lucas Stewart and Laura Ann Davis. She is also survived by six grandchildren.
Attendees are asked to comply with the current guidelines and restrictions concerning containment of the Coronavirus, including masks and social distancing.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in memory of Jean Alexander.
