He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Riley Arthur Merritt and Stella Lee Tucker Merritt; his wife Linda Dianne Harper Merritt of Douglas; his children, Lori Jeneen Merritt-Cliett (Darin) of Douglas, GA and Jason Elijah Merritt (Kim) of Douglas, GA; his sisters, Gwinette Bracewell (James) and Patricia Teston (Junior) of Douglas; and his grandchildren, Logan Merritt, Haley Merritt, Noah Cliett and Natalie Cliett. He was also cherished by Several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and many Friends.
