It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jessie Anderson (Douglas, Georgia), who passed away on April 16, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Tillman Anderson and Opal Minix Anderson; and his sister Mary Evelyn Anderson White. He is survived by: his brother Donnie Anderson (Brenda) of Douglas, GA; his uncle James Minix (Marlene) of Douglas, GA; his nephew Tim White (Leah) of Brunswick, GA; his great-nephew Justin White (April) of Douglas, GA; his close friends, Bruce and Melissa Whitley; and also Landon White of Douglas, GA.
Due to the current Coronavirus outbreak a private family visitation will be held with a graveside service planned for 4:00pm Monday, April 20, 2020 at Douglas City Cemetery with Rev. Marshall Adcock and Rev. Lonnie Spikes officiating. Attendees are asked to bring lawn chairs and comply with the current guidelines and restrictions concerning containment of the Coronavirus, including social distancing.
