With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jimmy Davis of Douglas, Georgia, who passed away on November 23, 2020 at the age of 75. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Davis and Limmie Merritt Davis; his wife Beverly Jo Smith Davis; and his sisters, Corine Wise and Lillian Jenkins.
He is survived by: his children, Becky Davis Hutto (Darrell) of Denton, GA, Rhonda Davis Dodd (Charles) of Quitman, GA and Stacey Davis (Kelly) of Jesup, GA; his siblings, Laverne Cothern (L. G.) of West Green, GA, Maxine Wright (Jimmy) of Denton, GA and Roscoe Davis (Jenelle) of Douglas, GA; his grandchildren, Bethany Anderson (Hugh), Sgt. Noah Carter, Rev. Joshua Peavy (Vanessa), Rev. Thad Peavy (Cara), Hannah Vickers (Cajah), Kaylee Pruitt (Johnathan), Jordan Davis and Izzy Davis; and his stepgrandson Allen Dodd. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
