We are sad to announce that on June 25, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Joan Stapleton in Douglas, Georgia, born in Montgomery, Alabama. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her sister Joyce Robertson Mobley. She is survived by: her children, Charles (Deborah), Jimmy (Melissa) and Ellen Stapleton Pope (Jerry); her grandchildren, Keegan Stapleton (Cindy), Christy Stapleton, Callie Stapleton Royer (John), Ben Stapleton (Jobeth), Austin Pope Lee (Josh) and Haley Anna Pope; and her sister Arie Darley of Tallahassee. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations may be made to Douglas First Baptist Church or Bethany Hospice in memory of Mrs. Joan Stapleton.
