He is survived by : his children, Meredith Carver of Douglas, GA, Joey Allen Barfield, Jr. of Douglas, Stephen Christopher Barfield of Douglas, GA and Brandon Barfield of Hazlehurst, GA; and his sister Melinda Hulett. He is also survived by Several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins.
