He was predeceased by: his parents, Patrick Allen McNamara and Dorothy Connor McNamara; and his sister Patricia McNamara. He is survived by: his children, Patrick Carter of Baxley, Joseph McNamara, Jr. of Douglas, Charlie McNamara of Douglas and Casandra Lopez of Douglas; and his siblings, Katherine Adubato of New Jersey, Virginia Adubato-Ramos of New Jersey, Melinda Albritton of Baxley and John Adubato of New Jersey.
