She was predeceased by: her parents, James Oliver Gillis and Myrtle Harrell Gillis; her former husband John Allen Ricketson, Sr.; her sons, John Allen Ricketson, Jr. and James Ben Ricketson; her sister Celia Morrison; her grandson Dave Temple; and her great grandchild Estella Ann Shook.
She is survived by: her husband Jess F. Tanner of Douglas, GA; her daughter Rebecca "Becky" Temple of Douglas, GA; her stepchildren, Wade Tanner of Douglas, GA and Laurie Tanner of Douglas, GA; her grandchildren, Leslie Shook (Drew) of Axson, GA, Laura Curtis (Isaiah) of Douglas, GA, Madelyn Tanner and Jessie Tanner of Axson; and her great grandchildren, Eli Curtis, Eliza Curtis of Douglas, GA, Aria June Shook of Axson, GA and Number. She is also survived by Nieces, Nephews, Cousins.
