She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Christian Kitchens and Ruby Lee Kitchens; her husband John Richard Key Sr.; and her siblings, Chris Kitchens, Jean Russ and Joan Bates.
She is survived by: her children, Kara Beth Key of Douglas, GA and John Richard Key Jr. (Lesha) of Douglas, GA; her grandchildren, Adam Blair Key, Christopher John Key (Grace), Andrew Wayne Spires, Clay Austin Spires (Joanna) and Kara LeAnna Spires; her stepgrandchildren, Timmy Moore, Lee Stone and Kenneth Stone; her great grandchildren, Emma Key, Breanna Key, Paisley Spires and Braden Moore; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Mila Stone and Baileigh Stone; and her sisters, Lawanda Pickett of Warner Robins, GA and Glenda Jones of Hawkinsville, GA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
