It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Krishnan Chalam M. D. of Douglas, Georgia, who passed away on June 8, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Krishnan was predeceased by: parents, Subbier Krishnan and Annapoorni Krishnan; and wife Alamelu Chalam. Krishnan is survived by: children, Babu Chalam, MD of Bothell, WA and Anu Kothari of Atlanta, GA; brothers, Sankaranavayana Krishnan, Natarajan Krishnan, Ramachandran Krishnan, MD, Parthasarathy Krishnan and Kalyanasundaram Krishnan; and granddaughters, Priyanka Kothari and Mira Kothari.
Due to COVID-19, attendees for the visitation and service are asked to comply with the guidelines and restrictions concerning containment of COVID-19, including social distancing of six feet of separation and utilization of appropriate medical grade masks while inside Sims Funeral Home.
