It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lena Ann Bowen of Douglas, Georgia, who passed away on February 14, 2022, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Williams Merritt (J. W.) and Ruth Story; and her siblings, John William Merritt and Diane Merritt. She is survived by: her daughters, Malissia Ann Jewel of Douglas, Davina C. Bowen (Joseph) of Douglas and Summer Lea Westberry of Douglas, One; her siblings, James Merritt (Janice) of Douglas, One and Glenda Young of Douglas; her half-brothers, Ronnie Merritt of Metter and Brian Merritt of Nicholls, GA; her grandchildren, Mahalie Porter, Allie S. Jewell and Christina Minchew (John); and her great grandchildren, Maci Porter, Saxxton Porter, Ry'lee Griffin, Ellie Rae Griffin, Emberlyn Minchew and Addalyn Minchew. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
