It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Linda Jernigan of Douglas, Georgia, who passed away on June 19, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, R. V. Jernigan and Walladean Adams Jernigan; her son Christopher Wooten; and her brother Dale Jernigan. She is survived by: her children, Darlene Higdon (Stuart) of Fort Rock, AL, Kylene Hartline (John) of Fort Payne, AL and James Wooten (Jamie) of Batavia, Ohio; her siblings, Frances Sisk of Douglas, GA, Betty Steverson (Lenny) of St. Augustine, FL, Donna Ross (Allen) of Broxton, GA, Anita Chaney (Jeff) of Douglas, GA and Phil Jernigan (Levanda) of Douglas, GA; and her stepdaughter Angie Clayton of Ft. Payne, AL. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren & 2 great grandchildren; several aunts, uncles, nephews and, cousins.
