It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvin Bookout of Douglas, Georgia, born in Broxton, Georgia, who passed away on March 9, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Arthur and Attie Armond Milsep Bookout; and his daughter Ettie Eugenia Bookout Vickers. He is survived by: his wife Wanda Bookout of Douglas, GA; and his children, Marcia Leigh Steed (Johnny) of Nicholls, GA and Marvin Keith. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and, several nieces and nephews.
