She was predeceased by: her parents, Seaborn Elish Bowen and Beulah Woods Bowen; and her husband Joshua Hightower of Washington. She is survived by: her daughters, Faye Arnold of Douglas, GA and Linda Williams (Carrol) of Jesup, GA; her grandchildren, Pam Corbitt of Douglas, GA, Tiffany Batten (Michael) of Douglas, GA, Amber Williams of Jesup, GA and John Carrol Williams of Ft. Drum, NY; and her great grandchildren, Ashton and Addison Batten. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
