It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maurice Courson Belcher of Douglas, Georgia, born in Waycross, Georgia, who passed away on January 9, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Loyd Courson and Frances Bagley Courson; her husband Herbert Eugene "Gene" Belcher; and her siblings, Doris Bittaker, Mary Frances Joiner, Louise Love, Lucille Williams, Rodean Courson and Vernon Courson.
She is survived by: her sons, Keith Belcher of St. Simons Island and Georgia Kent Belcher (Margie) of Douglas; her grandchildren, Shayne Belcher (Emily) of Douglas, Georgia Ryan Belcher (Jemille) of Irmo, Crystal Griffin (Chad) of Clarksville, Kenzie Davis (Seth) of Douglas and Georgia Zachery Belcher of Douglas; and her great grandchildren, Alexia Belcher, Tyler Belcher, Laylah Belcher, Kaylee Belcher, Beau Belcher, Christin Griffin and Paxton Griffin.
