He was predeceased by: his parents, Micajah J. Vickers and Maggie Mills Vickers; his son Victor Vickers; and his siblings, Lorraine Lott, Sydney Vickers, Colleen Holton, Mildred Vickers and Marvin Vickers.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Vickers of Douglas, GA; his children, Dr. David Vickers (Jenny) of Douglas, GA, Jon Vickers (Lindsey) of Atlanta, GA and Amy Larkey (Josh) of Douglas, GA; his daughter-in-law Becky Vickers (Victor) of Douglas, GA; his siblings, Delsa Houck of Philadelphia, PA, Irma Jean Schmitt (Haven) of Maquoketa, Iowa and Ralph Vickers (Lynne) of Atlanta, GA; and his grandchildren, Allen Vickers, Daniel Vickers, Jason Vickers, Steven Vickers, Will Vickers, Jon Vickers, Jack Vickers, Andrew Larkey, Elizabeth Larkey, Viviannie Vickers and Scarlett Vickers. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
