She is survived by: her sons, Bryan Keith Merritt of Nicholls and James Merritt (Tammy) of Metter, Georgia.; her grandchildren, Nicole Cowart, Dustin Cowart, Theresia Ramirez, Eddie Rowe, Tiffany Merritt, Brittany Merritt, Sean Gifford, Timothy Gifford and Brandon Gifford; her great grandchildren, Tyler O'Quinn, James Brannen (JC), Gracie Cowart, Diana Gillespie, Alex Ramirez, Abby Ramirez, Dixie Rowe, Ruben Gonzalez, Gaby Alvarado, Kazie Rodriquez, Raelynn Merritt and Eric Gifford; her great great grandchild Ellie O'Quinn; her daughter Diane Merritt; and her siblings, David Sheffield, John W. Sheffield, Louise Floyd and Inez Floyd.
