It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Norma Waldron of Douglas, Georgia, who passed away on February 3, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Nathan Chaney and Myrtle Joiner Chaney; her former husband Thomas Wooten Jr.; her husband Hogan Waldron; and her children, David Roberson, Joe Wooten and Denise Waldron.

She is survived by: her children, Demitri Wooten (Gary) of Douglas, GA, Charleen Moore (Mike) of Alma, GA and Tom Wooten (April) of Douglas, GA; her sister Lillie Mae Jenks of Ambrose, GA; and her stepsons, Avery Waldron of Starke, FL and Doyle Wooten (Linda) of Douglas, GA. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Due to COVID-19, Sims Funeral Home Inc. will require all guests and attendees to wear appropriate medical grade face-masks and maintain social distancing at all times while visiting our facility, and highly encouraged at our services outside of our facility.
