He was predeceased by: his parents, Olan Adams and Mattie Bell Carter Adams; and his wife Barbara Rachel Jackson Adams. He is survived by: his daughter Karla Adams of St. Louis, MO; his sister Vonda W. Gustafson of Henderson, NV; his grandchildren, Allie Yarberry of West Green, GA and Ashlyn Adams of Douglas, GA; his great grandchildren, Delta Sixtos, Peyton Yarberry and Ember Yarberry; and his stepchildren, Guerry Arnold (Tonya) of Douglas, GA, Gerald Arnold of Douglas, GA and Shannon Roberts (Lee) of Douglas, GA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
