He is survived by: his wife Norma Louise Sayer Dowling of Douglas, GA.; his children, Heather Cliett (Troy) of Pridgen, GA., Patrick Dowling (Chasity) of Douglas, GA, Shawn Dowling (Lisa) of Douglas, GA and Robert Dowling (Charity) of Waycross, GA.; his brother Kenneth Dowling of McRae, GA.; his grandchildren, Tyler Cliett, Sarah Cliett, Mathew Cliett, Landon Cliett, Ashley Dowling, Kaitlin Dowling, Logan Dowling, Gavin Dowling, Ryder Dowling and Zachary Dowling; his stepgrandchildren, Kelsey Holley, Bryce Holley, Maya Holley and Along; and his close friend Sylvia Goolsby.
