He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence A. Knight and Missourie Elizabeth Wooten Knight; and his brother C. H. Knight. He is survived by: his wife Janice Knight of Douglas, GA; his children, Angela Lynn Peterson (Farrell) of Douglas, GA and Christopher Paul Knight (Stephanie) of Douglas, GA; his grandchildren, Matthew Farrell Peterson (Kayla), Jonathan Ryan Peterson (Katie), Kristin "Brooke" Whitley (Ethan), Christopher Lane Knight and Caalan Luke Knight of Douglas, GA; his great grandchildren, Madison Peterson, Allie Peterson, Amelia Peterson, Karaline Peterson and Tucker Peterson; and his sisters, Ada Nell Beasley (Homer) of Broxton, GA and Clara Knight of Douglas, GA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
