It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sally Corbitt Deems of Douglas, Georgia, who passed away on December 31, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Corbitt and Lillie Batten Corbitt; her husband John L. Deems; her son Bobby Deems; and her grandson Lance Skipper.
She is survived by: her children, Johnny Deems (Michelle), Oliver "Dinky" Deems (Sue) and Sharon Skipper (William) of Marietta, GA; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Kirkland (Scott), Jason Deems (Deanna), Heather Wilkes (Ted), Levi Skipper (Christa), Jeremy Deems (Alisha), Joey Pawlik (Ray), Candice White (Wesley), Jessie Spivey (Marshall), John Deems (Brooke) and Jarred Deems (Jessica) of Jacksonville, FL. She is also survived by 26 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren Several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins.
