Twyman Carter Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Twyman Carter of Douglas, Georgia, who passed away on November 1, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kermit Carter and Gladys Westberry Carter; and his brothers, Eugene Carter, Tidwell Carter Sr., Steve Carter and Quitman "Buddy" Carter.
He is survived by: his wife Merlene M. Carter of Douglas, GA; his daughter Julie Greene (Tommy) of Douglas, GA; his granddaughter Hannah Phillips (Brandon) of Douglas, GA; his great grandchild Jordyn Elise Phillips of Douglas, GA; and his siblings, Roosevelt "Boots" Carter of Fitzgerald, GA, Etha Mae Cumbass of Douglas, GA, Sarah Ann Anderson (Hubert) of Nicholls, GA, Patsy Carter, Brenda Carter and Virginia Carter. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
