She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Conrad Lacunious Allgood and Lucy Goodman Faulkner Allgood; her husband Charles G. Denton, Jr.; and her siblings, Lucy, Zoa, Mary Ruth, Virginia, Conrad, Marjorie and James Edward.

She is survived by: her sons, Charles (Lynn Denton, III) and David (Sally Denton); her grandchildren, Kelly Denton, Tracy Denton, Sophia McGill and Stephen McGill; and her sister-in-law Dot Youngblood. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Pregnancy Resource Center in Douglasville or to the Georgia Baptist Children's Home and Family Ministry in Palmetto, Georgia.
