She was predeceased by: her parents, John Jay Freeman and Nancy Pauline Woodruff Freeman; and her siblings, Mary Isabelle Freeman Karst, Sara Ellen Freeman Campisi and Morgan Jay Freeman.

She is survived by: her fiancé Charlie O'Neal; and her sibling's children, Paula Ann Karst Bernard, Mary Ellen Karst Thornton and Stanley Jay Freeman.
