She was predeceased by: her parents, William Nelson Samples and Niecie Ethel O'Bryant Samples; and her husband Sanders Wheeler "S. W.". She is survived by: her sons, Larry J. Grizzle (Dena), Ricky Lee Grizzle (Vickie), Chuck Vaughn (Pam) and Eric Vaughn; her grandchildren, Richelle Higgins (Gary), Brian Hudgins, Amy Anderson, Alesha Nix (Jeremy), Billy Vaughn (Crystal), Robert Vaughn (Meagan), Scott Vaughn (Julie), Phillip Vaughn, Cory Vaughn (Tara), Kala Vaughn and Chelsea Englett (Wes); her sisters, Maxine Archer and Lydia Whitting; her son Billy Dale Vaughn; and her grandson Shane Hudgins. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
