She was predeceased by : her husband Harold Wallace; her parents, Frank Akin and Rosa Akin (Stanfield); and her daughter-in-law Judy Wallace. She is survived by : her children, Hal Douglas Wallace and Terri Wallace Cox (Jimmy); her grandchildren, James Cox (Brittany), Julie Cox Brady, Jennifer Gattuso (Ry), Shiloh Elliot (Jamie), Stacey Wallace and Christopher Wallace (Jessie); her great grandchildren, Liam, Addison, Dakota, April, Alivia, Wyatt, Mac, Wren, Arlo and Natalie Cobb (Adam); her niece Rhonda Johnston; and her nephew Ken Akin.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 8th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Whitley Garner At Rosehaven Funeral Home & Rose Haven Cemetery (8640 Rose Ave, Douglasville, GA 30134). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 8th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Rosehaven Chapel (8640 Rose Ave, Douglasville, GA 30134).
