It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bruce Puryear of Douglasville, Georgia, born in Marietta, Georgia, who passed away on January 25, 2022, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Franklin Puryear and Edna Mae Baker Puryear; and his sister Pat Sills. He is survived by: his wife Vicki Puryear; his sons, Dakota Owen Puryear (Amanda) and William Luke Ozment (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Will, Gracyn, Kaytleigh, Kyrsti and Kroy; and his siblings, Kerry Puryear and Rita Fowler.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, 1349 W. Peachtree Street NE, Ste 1800, Atlanta, Georgia 30309.
