He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh White Boyd and Ruby Mae Newell Boyd. He is survived by: his wife Mary "Bette" Carden Boyd; his sons, Carlton Hugh Boyd, Jr. (Trudy) and Jeffery Alan Boyd; his grandchildren, Erin Boyd Casey (Stephen), Courtney Boyd Nash (Blake) and Lauren Elizabeth Boyd; his great grandchildren, James Boyd Casey, Parker Reid Nash and Meredith Carroll Nash; and his sister Norma Boyd Gable. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
