He was predeceased by: his wife Donna Gunnin; his parents, Charles Edward and Catherine Gunnin (Waldrop); his daughters, Suzanne Gunnin and Kim Gunnin; and his sister Gloria Gross.
He is survived by: his brother Billy; and his sister-in-law Linda Gunnin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great nephews; as well as other family members and friends.
