She was predeceased by: her parents, William John Wesley Stapler and Emmie Fowler Stapler; her husband Malvin Briggs Rowell; and her sister Ezelle Robinson. She is survived by: her children, Sandra Mayer of Douglasville, Teresa (Evan Hamilton), Tami (Robert Owens) and Jeff; her daughter-in-law Melissa Rowell of Douglasville, Georgia; her brother Jackie Ray; and her sister-in-law Jan Stapler of North Carolina. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
