He was predeceased by: his parents, Sophie Zalesky and Donald Zalesky; and his sister Patty Zalesky Dzwonchyk. He is survived by: his wife Mary Zalesky; his children, David Zalesky (Julie) of Douglasville, Georgia and Lynn Abass (Keith) of Douglasville, Georgia; his brothers-in-law, Joseph Angello (Johanna) of Greensboro and Basil Dzwonchyk of Charlotte; his grandchildren, Courtney Zalesky (Anthony Shumaker) of Villa Rica, Morgan Zalesky of Douglasville, Georgia and Savannah Zalesky of Douglasville, Georgia; his great grandchildren, Landon Shumaker and Colton Shumaker; and his sibling's children, Jim Dzwonchyk (Helen) of Maryland, Joe Dzwonchyk (Ann) of Pennsylvania and Sara Zaverl (Eric) of Charlotte.
