She was predeceased by: her parents, Bartley Jackson Coleman and Ruby Ergle Melton; and her husband William Klyne McCain. She is survived by: her daughters, Rebecca Thompson and Mary Valance; her grandchildren, Joshua Martin, Christopher Thompson, Melissa Thompson and Rachel Valance; and her sister Marjorie Bagwell. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
