It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Jeanette Smith of Douglasville, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on April 7, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Howard F. Smith and Pearl Maddox Smith; and her husband William Robert Smith. She is survived by : her children, Karen Walker, Carey Smith (Lizette), Shonna Sherrill and Mike Smith (Dawn). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hightower's Memorial Chapel (12651 Veterans Memorial Hwy, Douglasville, GA 30134). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Mozley Memorial Gardens (3180 S Sweetwater Rd, Lithia Springs, GA 30122).
