She was predeceased by: her parents, Christopher Columbus Pirkle and LeClair Knuckols Pirkle; her husband James Gore; and her siblings, Willis T. Pirkle, Mildred Pirkle Cole and Martha Pirkle Boswell.
She is survived by: her children, J. Timothy Gore (Sharon), Larry Gore (Kay) and Julie Johnson (Ken); her grandchildren, Zach Johnston (Melissa), Jacqueline Halfacre (Jon), Ginger Rando (Tim) and Mitzi Generalao (Jerry); her great grandchildren, Adalyn, Allison, Halfacre, Harrison Johnston, Cassidi Brooks (Steven) and Jeremy Woolley (Kahlyn); and her brother Curtis Pirkle. She is also survived by four great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made in Edna Gore's memory to the First Baptist Church of Lithia Springs, 10531 Veterans Memorial Highway, Lithia Springs, Georgia 30122 (770-948-2126.)
