With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Geraldine Bernice Cheek of Douglasville, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on January 11, 2021 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Berner and Annie Ruth Zimmerman Berner; her husband Howard Cheek; her brothers, Melvin Berner, Arthur Berner and Charles Berner; and her nephew Christopher Berner.
She is survived by: her son Larry O'Neal (Claudia); her granddaughters, Casey Creal (George) and Leigh Shelor; her great grandchildren, Claudia Creal, Ella Creal, Sadie Shelor and Shep Shelor; and her sibling's children, Sandy Lagroon (Kenneth), Michael Berner (Dorinda), Stephen Berner (Catherine), David Berner (Amy), Laura Berner and Tammy O'Neal Carter.
