He was predeceased by: his mother Dolly Kello (Jeffers). He is survived by: his wife Mildred Kello; his children, Harold A. Kello, Jr. of Douglasville, Georgia, Terri Griffin (Jeff) of Lithia Springs and Sharon Guerrero of Douglasville; his grandchildren, James Kello, Elise Edmondson, Anastasia "Stasi" Harper, Jeffrey Tidwell, William Tidwell and Dusty Hoskins; and his great grandchildren, Leah Edmondson, Sidney Edmondson, Reagan Edmondson, Spencer Hoskins, Oliver Hoskins and Eli Hoskins.
