It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hazel Jennings of Douglasville, Georgia, born in Jefferson, Georgia, who passed away on March 7, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Dewitt Shelton, Sr. and Roberta Streetman Shelton; her husband George "Boots" Jennings; her daughter Louise Jennings Thomas; her granddaughter Wendy Perry; her siblings, Mary Grace Morgan, Annie Jean Gray, Charles Dewitt Shelton, Jr. and George Bobby Shelton; and her children-in-law, Wayne Perry and Marie Jennings.
She is survived by: her children, Betty Jennings, Bronnie "Pepper" Perry, George Steve Jennings (Bonnie), Charles Robert Lee Jennings, Floyd Howard Jennings, Jimmy Dean Jennings (Dana), Jackie Ray Jennings and David James Jennings; and her sister Betty Jean Davis (William). She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
