She was predeceased by: her parents, Sanford George "Shorty" and Nellie Mae Patton George; and her siblings, Jimmy George, Becky George and Bobby George.
She is survived by: her husband Jerry Wade Portwood; her children, Lisa Gaye Portwood, Jerry Wayne Portwood (Tina) and Sherry Leyvonne Webb; her grandchildren, Shane Portwood, Brandy White, Angelia Donehoo, Joseph Portwood, Rena Smith, Joshua Smith, Tara Murphy, Haley Murphy, Brandon Murphy and Aubrey Webb; and her siblings, Ronnie George (Sandy) and Linda George. She is also survived by 20 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
