It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Culberson Jr. of Douglasville, Georgia, born in Etowah, Tennessee, who passed away on November 17, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Richard Culberson and Mary Vaughn Culberson; his wife Arnell Joan Daniel Culberson of Douglasville; and his siblings, Odell Culberson, Amos Culberson, Okale Ray, Henry, Ruby Hamm and Okale May Culberson.
He is survived by: his children, Beulah Jane (Andre Colson), Mary (Dennis Payne), Tina Fowler of Douglasville, Georgia and Richard Clyde; his daughter-in-law Aileen Culberson of Dallas, Georgia; his sister Ellen; and his brother-in-law James Thomas of Etowah, Tennessee. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to The Dementia Society and Research Foundation.
